AChat privacy — what is collected and what is not

This is the AChat privacy notice. In short: passworded chats are end-to-end encrypted in your browser, open chats are not private, everything auto-deletes after 10 days, and product analytics never receive chat IDs or message contents.

What we collect

Standard Firebase hosting telemetry (IP, user-agent). Optional Google sign-in stores your account id, email, name, and photo. Product analytics (Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Microsoft Clarity) record feature usage and, for Clarity, anonymised session replays — never chat IDs, message contents, passwords, or file contents.
