How it works
How AChat works
Six steps, each with the screen where it happens.
Step 1 of 6
Chats with the people you know
- Personal chats, private groups and their files are end-to-end encrypted.
- A message can disappear after 1 minute, 1 hour or 1 day.
Step 2 of 6
Rooms without an account
- Pick a display name and share the room's link.
- No account and no phone number.
Step 3 of 6
Groups and communities
- Start a group for the people you talk to most.
- Any community listed for people to find shows up in the directory.
Step 4 of 6
Status
- Your accepted contacts see it, by default.
- Each status disappears after 24 hours.
Step 5 of 6
When the connection drops
- Chats you've opened stay readable.
- A message says "Sent" only once it has arrived.
Step 6 of 6
Plans
- Each plan, with what it includes.
- Pay by bank transfer, confirmed by the AChat team.
